The Reporter's back-to-school photo submission event

The Reporter has recently launched an Instagram account and what better way to kick off its unveiling then with a photo submission event.

Be sure to follow The Reporter on Instagram

It’s that time of year again where if the kids didn't already step onto the big yellow school bus, they will be within the next few weeks.

So many of our children are growing up right before your eyes and what better way to capture the event than with a back-to-school photo.

From now until Sept. 10 at noon, The Reporter is reaching out to its readers asking them to use the Instagram app on your smartphone and share photos of your children on their first day of school. (Instagram is user friendly photo application and is FREE on both iPhone and Android.)

For The Reporter to be able to find your photo, please include the hashtag #LansB2S in your photo caption. The photos will be shared through various social networking sites as well as The Reporter’s website.

Here is an example of how to post your photo on Instagram

If you have any questions, feel free to email Amanda Piccirilli, community engagement editor, at apiccirilli@thereporteronline.com.
