Volunteers sought for Chestnut Street Playground Block Party

Chestnut Street Playground Fundraising Community Group is looking for as many as 100 volunteers to staff the groups block party in Souderton Saturday, June 23.

Volunteers are needed for the following, according to event coordinators:

1. Set up prior to the event.  We have trash containers to put out, ice to carry, vendors to move in and out, different areas to setup from approx 8-10:30 a.m.
2.  During the day from 11-5 p.m., we need people to help staff the fun areas. We will have inflatables, kids games, a preschool fun area, an information booth selling admission passes for the fun area.
3.  We need people to help cover vendor areas for people who may need information, who may be looking to bathrooms or whatever else comes up, and to help with performance area safety such as keeping people from the staged events.
4.  Clean up starts around 4:30 p.m. We will need to move gear back into the church, move vendors out, clean up the park and breakdown any signs and ballons.15 people minimum are needed to complete these jobs.
All ages are welcome.
