Residents react to Towamencin's Lansdale Interchange name request

The elected officials of Lansdale and Towamencin should not waste any more time or resources on the issue of renaming the turnpike interchange. Kulpsville is devoid of any historical or cultural significance as a result of Towamencin's poor planning and selective use of eminent domain many years ago. The fate of the few remaining older properties is almost certain to be the same as their former neighbors. There’s no reason to rename a turnpike interchange for a former village effectively removed from the map by the actions of township officials. The placement of a historical marker indicating that Kulpsville previously existed would be more appropriate. Thank you, Mr. Rau for having the clarity to vote against the resolution.
